In early November 2020, Hurricane Eta hit Central America as a category 4 hurricane, tearing away roof tops, toppling trees, forcing thousands from their homes, and causing deadly floods and landslides. With local partners, Samaritan’s Purse is providing first aid, potable water, blankets, and food to help survivors in Nicaragua. They are also moving to help repair homes and assess how to support families whose crops and livestock have been destroyed.
In this MYD Global episode we speak with Danielle Hartung, Senior Projects Communications Specialist Samaritan’s Purse Canada about what they are doing, and how you can help with the recovery efforts.
